Last one I promise

OK so I'm fed up with making these now so this will be the last one for now. So many great challenges going on at the moment and I want to join in with them.

I'm waiting for my new stamps to arrive from Whiff of Joy, they are having a 20% off winter and christmas stamp sale and it would have been rude not to order a few, wouldn't it.

I was lucky enough to win some Candy from the Craftwork Cards blog and can't wait for that to arrive as it's a surprise, but I'm sure whatever it is will be wonderful, I love Craftwork Cards goodies.

The rain has just started again and I'm so fed up with being indoors. I don't even feel like taking the dogs out as the prospect of a soaking and two wet dogs doesn't fill me with enthusiasm. When will the rain go away - soon I hope.

Another Calendar

I'm trying to make a few of these for the craft fair on Saturday, if they don't sell then everyone will be getting a calendar for Christmas! I haven't used a lot of these images for some time and it's so nice to dust them off and have fun painting them again.

Giddy Up Horsey

This weeks Allsorts Challenge is a Christmas Carol or Song Title and this little horsey so reminds me of a song my mum used to sing to my children when they were little, she would sing it time and time again bouncing them on her knee and I can remember their little shouts of "again grandma, again", how she kept it up so long I don't know but she loved her grandchildren dearly.

So anyway, enough nostalgia, here's my project

The image is Penny Black with the horses mane and saddle decoupaged slightly, coloured with Distress Inks and the papers are Bloom and Grown from My Mind's Eye

Rainy Day Crafting

The weather is awful today, absolutely driving rain, the chooks are wet through and I've had a thorough soaking more than once.

This afternoon Mick has taken to the sofa with a book and I thought I'd run off a few last minute cards for next weekends craft fair. So here goes, the first three are all done with new stamps from The Glitter Pot yesterday, and the last one is with an old stamp which was being demo'd by Jane Gill also at TGP.

Off for a snuggle in front of the fire now.

My own version

of a lovely card I saw in the Craftwork Cards gallery. Unfortunately, I don't have many of their products but I loved this simple card. I embossed my own squares with my cuttlebug folders, made my own flowers and also my own white card candy and hey presto, this is what I came up with.

I was too lazy to set up my own photo background so had to do this on the computer to stop you seeing all the junk on my work space in the background.
